MOM'S PIZZA RUSTICA RECIPE

One of my favorite mom-ipe's is her pizza rustica. Imagine a pizza casserole bound together by egg and set inside a crusty and crispy pie crust. It's so good...

I don't know much history behind this Italian classic, but what I do know is that it's a typical antipasto served before Easter dinner. (Feel free to jump in here and let me know if I'm getting this all wrong). :)

So, what do you need to get started?

-2 Pie Crusts (fresh is best but you can pick up a box at your grocer typically near the butter)

-12 oz of cheddar cheese
