I'm just your average foodie, home cook, Korean adoptee, Bostonian, musician/producer with an interest in trying new things and improvising to make good recipes great.  

 

Growing up as a Korean adoptee, I grew up eating my mom's Minnesota inspired comfort food classics--pastas, casseroles, lots of vegetables, and meats.  As a kid I remember playing with my mom's spices.  In the summer I'd

play outside with small bowls of water trying out different herb combinations.

 

With this blog--although I won't be playing outside with my mom's spice rack--I will be walking my way through my favorite dishes from childhood, making them my own, and taking on celebrity chef recipes, creating concotions of my own, and talking about my favorite restaurant spots in the Boston area.
